The Rose House

We have been vacationing at Old Orchard Beach for four generations and have stayed at many places. Last summer was the first time we stayed at the Rose cottage. We were nervous to change it up and it was one of the best decisions we have made in years going there. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean with a homey feeling. Our favorite part was the porch with friends and family. Many memories made. We look forward to staying at any of their properties!

This quaint cottage has everything you need for your stay at the beach and is just steps away from the water. Tracey was an excellent local host. Flexible on check in. She also gave a great tip for a beautiful local walk along the coast. Highly recommend.

Everything you want a beach getaway to be. And everything everyone else already said :) Cottage was clean, bright, and nicely, thoughtfully appointed, and maybe 20 seconds from the front door to when your toes hit the beach. Tracey could not have been more helpful, responsive, or more welcoming to our dog Mona. HUGE plus for my wife, the beds were wonderful, real innerspring mattresses-we slept great. At low tide the beach goes on forever. We were very pleased to have chosen Rose Cottage for our trip.

The Rose House was everything we hoped it would be and more. Tracey was a fantastic host, providing all of the house information days in advance and was very welcoming and communicative throughout our stay. The home has a wonderful patio that my wife and I utilized playing cards and listening to the waves crashing in the background.

The home itself is in a perfect location, with quick driving times to Portland and Portsmouth. We even made a day trip down to Salem to check it out leading up to Halloween. Rose House was very clean and tidy and has all the amenities you’d need for a short or long stay including a full kitchen and very fast and reliable wifi. The home has easy parking with two spots available and is steps from the beachfront. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend without any reservations to stay at Rose House. We look forward to another visit soon!

This is a beautiful cottage just steps from the beach. It is spacious and comfortable. The owners were in town the weekend we stayed and they made us feel very welcomed. I will absolutely stay again.

Lovely getaway for us Vermonters. We were able to bring our beloved cat with us which made it even better.

My family and I stayed in this Old Orchard Beach cottage over Labor Day week. I’m a nurse who was looking for peace and quiet, and we found it here. The cottage is a mile from the pier, so walking distance if you want to be where all the activity is, but far enough away that it’s much quieter (it is on a main street, so traffic noise is to be expected). It’s literally steps from the beach, and the porch is lovely for relaxing and reading. The cottage, itself is spacious and comfy, with its three bedrooms. Tracey and Ryan were next door and were helpful with tips for shopping, etc. We loved this cottage and would not hesitate to come back.

This place is great! So close to the water, plenty of space in the house, and has everything you need for a stay. Just make sure you bring your beach chairs, toys, etc. And the shower is a little tight but it is far from a deal breaker. Loved it and plan to be back next year!

Spent a week at Tracey's Beach house with the family, and we had a great time! The house was clean and cozy, and the location was unbeatable. We enjoyed many nights relaxing on the screened in porch. I would definitely stay again, and recommend a stay to anyone!

Cute cozy clean cottage close to the beach with very nice porch with ocean view thoughtfully decorated. Good size living area and kitchen. Hosts were amazing and extremely helpful and very prompt in responding to any questions or needs

Tracey and Ryan are absolutely wonderful hosts. The cottage was even better as pictured and many personal touches are made to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The location is convenient- quiet and near the beach. Also very close to the downtown area of OOB and nearby towns. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The house was very comfortable to stay in! Would highly recommend!
